  • Welcome/Introductions:  Lisa F, Cele E, Sabrina A, , Kim L, Laura P, Tamara K, Pat C, Jane H, Jeanette B, Lisa H, Kathleen O, Carleen Mc, Cyndi P, Teresa L, Jeffrey Stillwell, Tamara B, Beth P
  • Principal’s Remarks:  Congratulations to: Miss McIntosh – Jenny Ampat, the MHS Academic Team, the MHS Band, the MHS Girls Basketball Team, the Chiefettes, the MHS Orchestra.  You make us proud!  The fundraising event “March for Haiti” is underway, the study hall proposal was explained and the need for student government was discussed
  • Treasurer's Report:  Reviewed income & expenditures thru February, everyone is within budget but please keep spending tight

 


  • Committee Reports
      • Accident Avoidance Workshop: Date for next session is Thursday June 3rd from 6:24 - 9:15pm in the McIntosh auditorium.  The driving session that each parent-student duo must attend is either from 8am to 12:30pm OR from 1:30pm to 6pm. The dates are: Saturday June 5th, Sunday June 6th, Saturday June 12th or Sunday June 13th
      • Appropriations:  No report
      • Bulletin Board:  Looks good, keep sending in positive PR about MHS
      • Fashionata: Friday March 12th, 7pm in the auditorium, a few more volunteers needed, contact Cele Eifert at ron-cele@att.net
      • Front Office:  No report
      • Guidance:  Will be editing diplomas
      • Homecoming:  No report
      • Hospitality: Next teacher luncheon is Mar 25th (Social Studies Dept.), ChickFilA volunteered to provide lunch, Preparing for Honors Night: May 3 (Seniors) & May 4
      • Landscaping:  No report
      • Media Center:  Much thanks goes out to Jeff Nunes for thoroughly dusting our bookshelves and keeping our media center clean
      • Nominating Committee:  Nominations (including self-nominations) for the 2010-2011 PTSO Executive Board (President, President-elect, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer) are being accepted now to April 2 by the PTSO Nominating Committee.  Contact Teresa Love (sandtlove@comcast.com) or Pat Cook (wtcmd@mindspring.com) or Kimberly Calamoneri (kburkcala@hotmail.com) 
      • Recycling: Bins provided by Student Club funds have been ordered; should arrive this week, red bin by the stadium is for aluminum, green bin by the stadium is for newspaper, magazines & paper, Families, please take advantage of these bins and help support MHS’s efforts in “going greener” while raising funds for our school in the process. Cem Drake of Integrated Recycling Solutions (678-251-6668) is willing to pay $1.00 to McIntosh monthly for every McIntosh family who uses his garbage/recycling service monthly. Please consider trying Recycling Solutions as your provider.
      • Service Projects: Three projects for Spec Ed are underway and should be completed during spring break, a brick laying project is also in the works
      • School Store:  Is doing great, kudos to Shawn Yeatman for keeping it well stocked
      • Spiritwear:  Working on Spirit Packs for up- coming freshmen and Senior Shirts for the class of 2011
      • Student Club: Brick sale will conclude soon
