If the listing indicates that a nomination is needed, come by Guidance to pick up the Nomination Form to complete and return to Guidance. Feel free to contact your guidance counselor if you need assistance. Mrs. Huey is this year’s contact for scholarships.
On-Campus College Visits: Come by Guidance to sign-up in the On-Campus Visit book, complete the form for a pass, and pick up a handout. These visits are for senior and juniors only. Remember no passes will be issued the day of the visit. Only three visits per student per year, so choose wisely!

Click on Sign In at top of home page, enter: Account Name & Password, click on College Planning, scroll to Applications and Transcripts. Go to Request & Track your Transcript (Review the information on this page for accuracy). Choose the college where you would like to send your transcript. Click Continue. A Forum on Women’s Colleges will be held Tuesday, September 15 from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. with registration beginning at 6:00 at Pace Academy 966 W. Paces Ferry Rd., NW, Atlanta. Schools represented include Agnes Scott, Hollins, Scripps, Smith, Spelman, Sweet Briar, Wellesley, and Wesleyan.
Tulane University will be in Atlanta to answer questions about their admission process Wednesday, September 16 at 7:00 p.m. at the Doubletree Atlanta NW/Marietta, 2055 South Park Place, Atlanta. Call 1-800-873-WAVE to RSVP.
100 Black Men of Atlanta, Inc. invites students to the 2009 College Fair on Saturday, September 26 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Omni Hotel @ CNN South Tower Exhibit Hall. Admission and financial aid officers from a number of historically black colleges and universities along with other majority colleges and universities from the southeast have been invited to showcase their respective institutions. To make reservations to attend the College Fair no later than September 15, you may email Karen Roberts at kroberts@100blackmen-atlanta.org.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION OF NEW CREDIT AND CREDIT RECOVERY
New Credit – No more than 1 credit may be obtained per semester. Limit of 2 credits may count toward graduation from a Fayette County Public School. The two credits are for the entire high school career, including summer.
Credit Recovery – No limit.
A permission form MUST be obtained from your counselor prior to enrolling in a course.
