Off-Campus College Visits
Juniors and Seniors are allowed up to two days a year for college visitations. They must complete the " Intent to Visit College" form
BEFORE the college visit. All teachers must sign the Intent form and the form is returned to the
ATTENDANCE office at least one day prior to the scheduled college visit. When the intent form is turned into the attendance office the bottom (verification) portion of the form will be returned to the student.
The verification portion of the form is to be taken with the student to the college visit and must be:
- SIGNED by the college official
- STAMPED with the official college stamp or have a letter from the college attached to confirm the visit.
Business cards, e-mails and parking passes are not accepted as verification of a college visit. If the paperwork is completed and the visit is confirmed these absences are classified as
EXEMPT.
